World Cup skiers will once again descend on Palisades Tahoe ski resort next season.
The Stifel Palisades Tahoe Cup returns to Lake Tahoe Feb. 23-25, 2024. The competition is part of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup Tour. Large crowds of spectators at Palisades Tahoe watched World Cup skiers in February 2023.
“We are thrilled to welcome back the Audi FIS World Cup to Palisades Tahoe in 2024,” said Dee Byrne, President and COO at Palisades Tahoe. “This event holds a special place in our hearts. It celebrates the incredible talents of some of the world’s best ski racers while inspiring the next generation of elite athletes.”
The Stifel Palisades Tahoe Cup will feature top-tier World Cup male racers who will showcase their skills on Red Dog Face and Dog Leg. Olympic and World Cup champion Mikaela Shiffrin has lauded this course as “one of, if not the toughest” venues on the World Cup circuit.
“We look forward to witnessing another thrilling competition and continuing our legacy of bringing world-class competitions and events to the North Lake Tahoe community, sharing the spirit of these legendary mountains with the world,” Byrne said.
