The Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows Foundation is a nonprofit organization working to raise funds for local winter sports athletes and coaches to help them pursue their snow sports goals. Through fundraising efforts, the nonprofit was able to extend 23 scholarships to local and regional athletes last year, equaling more than $25,000 in value.
“It’s events like this one that allow us to grant such scholarships, and this year we hope to help even more winter sports athletes with the cost of pursuing their dreams,” said Reem Saffouri, President of SAF. “We invite anyone who loves the outdoors to join us for this fun event that benefits SAF, as well as the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe.”
