Spring skiing will be celebrated on a number of upcoming days at Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows – assuming the crazy April weather doesn’t interrupt the schedule.
A storm hit Lake Tahoe ski resorts again Thursday, but should subside by this evening. However, more snow is on the way, starting sometime Sunday.
Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows certainly has enough snow already. The popular Lake Tahoe ski resort was reporting 692 inches of snow earlier Thursday and could crack the coveted 700-inch mark by Friday morning. Squaw Alpine plans to operate with skiing and riding into June and will reopen July 4, weather and conditions permitting. If that is the case, Squaw Alpine will have Tahoe’s longest ski season.
Below is a list of upcoming springtime events at Squaw Alpine.
