With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe is making it easy for resort guests and local visitors to plan a romantic evening out with their sweetheart.
The North Lake Tahoe resort, which is located mid-mountain at Northstar California ski resort, will join with The Painted Vine, a local business based in Truckee, to offer a special evening of wine tasting and painting at the resort on Saturday, February 14, 2015.
“Valentine’s Day offers a great opportunity to spend time with loved ones, and we’re excited to join with The Painted Vine to provide our guests with a fun offering to do something different this year,” said Joseph Mattioli, general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe. “Along with the wine tasting and the chance to get creative while painting, special a la carte menu items will be featured in Manzanita and relaxing treatments offered in The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Lake Tahoe that are sure to round out the perfect day or weekend in the mountains.”
Designed to offer a place to paint, sip wine and connect with others, the concept of The Painted Vine’s “Date Night” is to provide participants with a guided lesson that helps novice artists work toward creating a “masterpiece” that they can be proud of while spending quality time with someone they love.
The Painted Vine Valentine’s Day Date Night will take place in Café Blue at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe from 8-10:30 p.m. on February 14, and will include a painting class for two, cheese and dessert stations, wine and champagne.
The cost to participate is $150 per couple, including tax and gratuity. This package is limited to 10 couples, and can be reserved by contacting the hotel concierge at 530 562-3000.
Resort guests and local visitors are invited to celebrate Valentine’s Day with their favorite person throughout the month of February at The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Lake Tahoe, which has 170 guest rooms and 23 private residences. Spa guests will receive one complimentary enhancement per treatment when a spa package is reserved.
