Following a busy holiday season, Mt.Rose ski resort in Lake Tahoe is gearing up for more activities this month.
Mt. Rose ski resort is Tahoe’s closest skiing toReno, located 25 minutes away from Reno and 15 minutes from Lake Tahoe.
Among the January activities at Mt.Rose ski resort are the popular Learn to Ski & Ride Program, offered from Monday through Friday this week.
Ski & Ride lets beginners of all ages enjoy the mountain with $44 First Timer Packages for adults (ages 11-above) and $44 Rosebuds lessons for kids (ages 4-10) when you buy online through www.skirose.com.
First Timer Packages (ages 11-above) at Mt.Rose ski resort include a 2-hour lesson, beginner lift ticket and rental equipment that can be used all day.
Rosebuds kids lessons (for ages 4-10, 7-10 snowboard) include a 2-hour lesson, lift ticket, rental equipment and helmet that can be used all day.

A slopestyle contest at Mt.Rose ski resort is open to skiers and riders of all ages in the PondoPark on the main side. Free to enter with a lift ticket or season pass.
