Mt. Rose ski resort in Lake Tahoe continues to open more terrain in preparation for the Christmas holidays.
Mt. Rose ski resort has six lifts operating for skiing and snowboarding. Mt. Rose ski resort has also opened the Pondo terrain park, accessed from the Ponderosa lift.
Mt. Rose ski resort is located off Mt. Rose Highway and is the closest resort toReno.
Throughout the past few days Mt. Rose ski resort has opened these four trails – Galena, EnchantedForest, North Rim, Upper Ramsey’s.

Reduced price lift tickets
Lift tickets are $69 at the resort/$64 online right now, valid any day. The $84 rate is based on the whole mountain being open, so we’ve adjusted our prices for now.
Below are the changes this season at Mt. Rose:
New E-commerce Shop and Website: Buy lift tickets, season passes, Rosebuds kids lessons and First Timer Packages online through the more effective and streamlined e-commerce shop resulting in a much more simplified purchasing process.
New features such as uploading a season pass photo have been added. The purchasing process is way easier for products bought through skirose.com!
Expanded WiFi and Additional Seating: Mt. Rose has expanded its WiFi service in both the Main Lodge and the Winters Creek Lodge. More seats will be added to the Mountain View Dining area located in the upper level of the Main Lodge.
New Staircases Connecting Parking Lots 3 & 4: Mt. Rose built two sets of staircases connecting parking lots 3 and 4. This improvement substantially improves the walk from the upper parking lot down to the Main Lodge base area.
