Ski season is not that far away. Like many Lake Tahoe-area ski resorts, Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe is still offering great deals for 2015-16 season-pass holders.
With rates starting as low as $229, Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe will extend its current season pass sale pricing until September 30. Providing access to some of the most diverse terrain and highest quality snow conditions in the region, the Nevada ski resort’s season pass lineup includes holiday periods (no blackout dates). Mt. Rose is located on Mt. Rose Highway, just 25 minutes from Reno and close to Incline Village in Lake Tahoe.
Climatologists’ long-term forecasts indicate the 2015-16 winter season has the potential to surpass some of the largest El Nino events on record. In anticipation of what could be a significant winter weather year in the Sierra, Mt. Rose is gearing up with $1.2 million in on-mountain improvements that include enhanced snowmaking, four new beginner trails and the realignment of the new “Wizard” chairlift, renovation of the children’s lesson registration area and the Timbers Bar, a new rental equipment fleet and more.
“The affordability of our season passes coupled with the significant investments we’ve made at the resort this summer make Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe the place to ski in Lake Tahoe this season,” said Mike Pierce, director of marketing at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe. “Season passholders will enjoy season long access to some of the best terrain and highest quality snow conditions in the region, no holiday restrictions, and our earliest scheduled opening ever on October 29 – weather and conditions permitting.”
Featuring Lake Tahoe’s highest resort base area at 8,260 feet, skiers and riders who visit Mt. Rose have access to the best natural snow conditions in the region and some of the most diverse terrain for all ability levels.
