There was plenty of rejoicing today at Lake Tahoe ski resorts after the biggest storm in two years dumped up to 2 feet of snow in the Sierra. See the Lake Tahoe Snow Report below.
Overall, the Tahoe region received between 12-24 inches of snow within the last 24 hours. And more good news is another storm system is expected to arrive Sunday.
Homewood Mountain opened today, along with Tahoe Donner and Granlibakken. Donner Ski Ranch announced on its website that Saturday (Dec. 12) will be opening day. Donner Ski Ranch was the last of Lake Tahoe’s 15 ski resorts to open for the 2015-16 season.
