The season is winding down for Homewood Mountain, but the ski resort is already taking steps to offer skiing and snowboarding for next year.
Homewood Mountain is kicking off its 2017-18 season pass sales with a limited quantity of adult full season passes starting at $299 while supplies last. Homewood’s “Ultimate Pass” is valid all season long with no restrictions or blackout dates. In addition, those who purchase their 2017-18 season pass now can ski free until the end of the current season.
Like all Lake Tahoe ski resorts, Homewood has enjoyed a tremendous winter regarding snow totals. To date, Homewood has received 525 inches of snow. Its annual average is 450 inches.
Homewood is open daily through April 9, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., conditions permitting. For those interested in planning a ski vacation, Homewood continues to offer incredible value with Stay & Ski packages starting at $249 per person, per night.
Following the limited time “flash sale,” the unrestricted Ultimate Pass will be available this spring for $419 for adults (ages 19-61), $379 for teens (ages 13-18), $169 for juniors (ages 5-12), $299 for seniors (ages 62-69), and $259 for super seniors (ages 70+).
Unrestricted college passes will also be available for $259 to students enrolled at an accredited 2- or 4-year college with 9+ units/credits. School-issued photo ID and copy of course registration required as proof of enrollment. Children under the age of four always ski or ride free at Homewood.
The Ultimate Family Pass includes two adult and two dependent child/teen (ages 5-18) season passes valid all season long starting at $1,099.
“Every one of our season passes provides unrestricted access to Homewood Mountain Resort all season long with zero blackout dates,” said Kevin Mitchell, general manager of Homewood Mountain Resort. “For passionate skiers and snowboarders interested in an authentic ski experience, as well as families who are looking for unmatched value and flexibility, the Ultimate Pass is the most convenient, affordable way to have access to the slopes whenever you are able to be here.”

Heavenly Mountain pushed back its closing until April 30, while Northstar California, Sugar Bowl, Diamond Peak and Sierra-at-Tahoe will all remain open through April 23. Sierra will have an Appreciation day on April 24.
