Heading into its 50th anniversary, Diamond Peak ski resort will be trying something a little different: selling season passes in the spring.
For the first time in recent years, Diamond Peak will sell season passes for the 2016-17 ski season in March, allowing new passholders to ski or snowboard for the remainder of the 2015-16 ski season, and providing everyone the opportunity to purchase a season pass for next winter at the lowest prices of the year.
Diamond Peak’s “early-bird” season pass sale will run from March 19 through April 30, 2016, with values on both unrestricted and mid-week passes as well as passholder perks worth over $2,600 in added value.
Diamond Peak is located in Nevada’s Incline Village in North Lake Tahoe. The affordable, family-friendly resort offers breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe, a summit elevation of 8,540-feet and a 1,840-foot vertical drop. Skiers and boarders can experience 655 acres of beginner to advanced terrain that include open groomers, glades and powder bowls.
During the early-bird sale, unrestricted adult season passes will cost just $369 for the general public ($289 for IVGID picture pass holders), while full-time college students and youth (ages 13-23) can purchase unrestricted passes for just $209 (or $139 for IVGID picture pass holders).
As a bonus, new passholders who purchase during the early-bird sale will be able to ski or ride for free for the remainder of the 2015-16 ski season (scheduled to run through April 10, 2016, conditions permitting).
In addition, all 2016-17 Diamond Peak season passholders will receive a total of 40 complimentary bonus days at 10 partner resorts, including Homewood Mountain Resort, June Mountain Ski Area, Bogus Basin, Lee Canyon (aka Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort), Red Lodge Mountain Resort, Whitefish Mountain Resort, Purgatory Resort, Arizona Snowbowl, Pajarito Mountain Ski Area, and Sipapu Ski & Summer Resort.
Every Diamond Peak season pass comes with our Peak Pledge, a 100 percent money back guarantee for refunds requested by January 15, 2017 on unused 2016-17 season passes – no insurance or doctor’s note needed. Passholders just need to visit Guest Services by January 15, 2017 to request a full refund.
Diamond Peak offers an unrestricted pass valid every day with no blackout dates, and a midweek pass valid Monday through Friday (void during holiday periods: December 19, 2016 – January 1, 2017; January 14-15, 2017; February 18-26, 2017). The midweek pass is valid 7 days a week starting in March 2017.
