As the season heads to the finish line in Lake Tahoe, ski resorts are already looking ahead, offering deals on season passes for 2025-26.

Many ski resorts are offering low prices initially (costs will rise later in the year) to lure in next season’s passholders. And a second ploy is reeling in skiers and snowboarders who might want to switch their season pass plan, and can ski that particular resort for free the remainder of this season.
Here’s a look at what many Tahoe ski resorts are offering with their 2025-26 season pass plan.
VAIL RESORTS (Heavenly, Kirkwood, Northstar): The Epic Passes are now on sale at what Vail Resors says will be their lowest price of the year.
For a limited time, passes include 10 Buddy Tickets that offer friends and family up to 45% off lift ticket prices.
Epic Pass: Offers unlimited, unrestricted access to ski and ride at all three Tahoe resorts – Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood – and 39 additional resorts in the U.S. and worldwide. Cost is $1,051.
Tahoe Local Pass: Provides unlimited access to the three Tahoe resorts (excluding peak dates), plus 5 days at each of Vail’s Colorado resorts and Park City Mountain (Utah). Cost is $665.
If only interested in skiing or riding at the three Tahoe resorts, the cost is reduced to $567 with some restrictions.

Epic Day Pass: If you’re planning to ski/ride for just a few days, you can ski or ride Tahoe resorts from $76 per day.
An Epic 1-Day Pass: Good at Heavenly, Northstar or Kirkwood – the cost starts at $91.
Passholders also get the added benefit of Epic Mountain Rewards, which includes 20% off on-mountain food and beverage, lodging, group ski and ride lessons, equipment rentals and more.
