Rolling Stones, Beatles tribute bands playing at Tahoe Donner

Two major iconic bands from the 1960s-70s – the Beatles and Rolling Stones – will be part of the celebration at a Tahoe Donner concert that shouldn’t be missed.

Tahoe Donner’s annual Summer Concert on the Green returns this year with 1960s and ‘70s flair as the rock and roll era is recreated on July 3 with Beatles and Rolling Stones inspiration.

Two all-star tribute bands will take the stage and transport guests back in time. Britain’s Finest brings the complete Beatles tribute band experience to Tahoe Donner, including the signature Beatles’ look. The Glimmer Twins, a Rolling Stones tribute band, will captivate guests with its version of the Stones’ greatest hits.

Summer Concert on the Green is an all-ages event and will take place under the stars at the Tahoe Donner Driving Range, located adjacent to Trout Creek Recreation Center at 12790 Northwoods Blvd., Truckee.

It is a tree-lined driving range with a gentle-covered slope, surrounded by forest and greenery. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site, but attendees may also bring their own picnics, including low back chairs. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Britain’s Finest is one of the most authentic Beatles tribute bands to emerge in the last 20 years. Because of the uncanny resemblances to Mick Jagger and Keith Richards in their prime, coupled with the special attention given to the minutest details both musically and visually, The Glimmer Twins deliver a classic Rolling Stones experience to their audience. Adult tickets are $35; children ages 7-12 are $15; and children 6-under are free. Tickets are on sale now, but are expected to sell out before the event.
