This event has a long tradition that spans more than three decades. Welcome to the annual Alpine Meadows Snow Golf Tournament, which is celebrating its 35th year on April 20.
For a cool look, ditch the ski jacket for a collared shirt and khakis. Afterall, this day is more than just spring skiing and snowboarding Lake Tahoe. It’s about golf, veering away from a traditional day at a Tahoe ski resort.
The Alpine Meadows Snow Golf Tournament is back for yet another year. As the only top-to-bottom snow golf course at a Tahoe ski resort, this highly anticipated spring event is a unique way to spend a day on the slopes with the whole family
The nine-hole course starts at the top of Alpine’s Summit Express Chair and meanders its way down the mountain with the last holes bringing competitors back to the bottom of Alpine Bowl Chair.
Participants in the golf tournament are encouraged to wear costumes. There will be a prize for the best, so channel your inner Caddyshack.
There will also be raffle prizes, including Smartwool, Yeti, CLIF Bar, a round of golf for a foursome at the Resort at Squaw Creek.
Live music will take place from 2:30-5:30 pm at the main lodge sun deck. There will be food and drink specials and swag giveaways.
For skiers and riders looking into next season, there will be onsite sales for the 2019-20 Ikon Pass.
